Mridusmita Das - Sattriya Dancer

Mridusmita Das is one of the rising talents in the world of classical dance.Born to Dwijen Das and Ajanta Das,this 20 year old is one of the stars of Sattriya dance.Her guru is Mr.Ramkrishna Talukdar;a celebrated artiste,who has given sattriya a new lease of life.This girl is a classic overachiever from being a talented artist she is also an ace in academics - she secured 92.5% in her 12th boards from Assam valley school,Tezpur.Not only is Mridusmita a talented sattriya dancer but she has also trained in Bharatnatyam;she Joined Kalabhumi, the premier Institute of Bharat Natyam Style located at Sarvoday Nagar, Guwahati at the age of 5 while she was in  class KG.  She completed Diploma & performed ‘ARENGATRAM’ at Rabindra Bhawan, Guwahati in July 2003 and acquired Nritya Visharad in Bharatnatyam in 2000 from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow.She has travelled across the length and breadth of the country performing at the following -
